Burley Kids & Youth Trailers

Are the kids not quite ready to ride all day long? You can still bring them along for the ride with our Burley D'Lite trailers!

All of our trailers feature two seats with buckles, mesh enclosure for maximum airflow and clear plastic sunshade/cover with water resistant zippers which is great it is happens to be cold, windy, or rainy. There is also a cargo space in the back that is perfect for diaper bags, backpacks, snacks, and more.

Please note that by law all children must wear an approved helmet even while strapped into a bike trailer. Helmets are included in your rental fee but you are more than welcome to bring your own if you prefer.

Please note that ALL RIDERS, REGARDLESS OF AGE MUST WEAR A HELMET when using any of our equipment, this includes any children riding in a trailer. This is a requirement by our insurance provider and is noted on the waiver that each person must sign. Helmets are available and included in the rental fees, however you are welcome to bring your own helmet if you prefer.

The photos shown on our website are for reference only. We have multiple styles and colours of bicycles so the bike that you receive may vary from what you see online.

Minimum age requirement - 12 months/1 year
Maximum weight per child - 40lb/18kg
Total weight capacity (1 or 2 children + cargo) - 100lb/40kg

While our trailers work on most of our bikes, they do not work on all of them. Trailers cannot be used with e-bikes, tandem bikes, trikes, kids bikes, and a select few of our mountain bikes.

If you are planning to attach one of our trailers to your own bike please note that our hitches do not fit most bikes with disc brakes, rear suspension, or mono stay bicycles. If you are unsure of if your bike is compatible please email us a picture or the model of bike you have and we will do our best to provide guidance. Please keep in mind that we will not know for 100% certain until we see your bike in person.
